Since its founding in 1993, the Open Space Authority has accomplished a variety of projects towards our mission of conserving the natural environment, supporting agriculture, and connecting people to nature by protecting open spaces, natural areas, and working farms and ranches for future generations. • Coyote Valley Landscape Linkage, 2017

• Coyote Valley South Valley Meadow Restoration, 2017

• The Economic Impact of 2016 Loma Fire, 2017

• Implementing the Measure Q Urban Open Space Grant Program, 2016

• Coyote Valley Wildlife Linkage Assessment, 2016

• Management of the Loma Fire with helping CalFire to construct necessary fire breaks and staging fire personnel and mis-placed residents, 2016

• Ongoing management of mitigation properties for the Valley Transportation Authority (2006), Santa Clara Valley Water District (2015), and Valley Habitat Agency (2016)

• Understanding Our Community Assessment, 2015

• Coyote Ridge Interim Management and Monitoring Plan, 2015

• Completion of Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve Staging Area, 2015

• Constructed half of the Arrowhead Trail in house at Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve, 2015

• Completion of Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve Staging Area, 2012
• Built Aquila and Kestrel trails at Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve, 2012
• Oversaw reclamation of Blair Barn and relocation of bat habitat to a new home, 2011
• Completion of Rancho Cañada del Oro Open Space Preserve Staging Area, 2005
• Decreased invasive plants along the Boccardo Loop Trail at Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve from 90% coverage to 25%, 2002
