The Human Resources Coordinator supports the staff of the Authority in their roles by providing effective human resources support to all staff, managers, applicants and new hires.

The Clerk of the Board supports the Board in its response to the needs of the public through the care and custody of the official records and documents of the Board and committees. The Clerk balances the needs of the Board, committees, the public and staff, serving as a liaison to share information and knowledge, and facilitate elegant, compliant solutions.

The Office & Facilities Coordinator assures that the public is presented a professional image of the Authority when visiting or contacting the office. Facilitates the use of physical and informational resources to create an environment that people want to work in and can excel in.

The Staff Accountant ensures operational efficiency through the day-to-day functions of the Authority's accounting processes, supporting all projects and programs of the Authority's mission. 

The Fiscal Service Officer provides a solid foundation for the financial health and sustainability of the Authority through expertise in and execution of Accounting and Public Finance and Information Technology programmatic work.

The IT Technician provides technology expertise that supports individual users and multiple enterprise systems; drives the deployment of new technology solutions; and collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners and consultants to ensure the Authority is maximizing technology resources.

The Multimedia Communications Specialist communicates the Authority’s story, mission and accomplishments across multimedia platforms, creating high quality work product for a variety of audiences.  

The Communications Coordinator crafts the words and messages that will reach the Authority's audiences, connecting those audiences to nature and raising awareness of the Authority's work and mission. 

The Public Information Officer develops communications and media strategies that increase public awareness of the Authority, through expansion of communications channels and media relationships. Implementation of those strategies results in positive public awareness of the Authority’s mission, services and accomplishments. 

The Real Property Coordinator provides critical programmatic support, allowing the Open Space Authority to have the capacity to act on land transaction opportunities and strategic real property initiatives.

The Grants Program Coordinator provides support in advancement of the Open Space Authority's grant making programs. They work to reach more people and organizations through the grant making programs.

The Community Impact & Policy Specialist provides key support and resources to the Open Space Authority’s governmental affairs program, expanding the Authority's capacity to impact legislative and political issues that further the agency mission.

The Deputy Conservation Manager provides insight and recommendations to formulate and implement strategic conservation plans and land acquisition strategies to meet the agency's objectives. The position is also responsible for all aspects of implementing real property transactions that support the agency’s mission.

The External Funding Coordinator secures and manages outside funding that allows the Open Space Authority to leverage internal funds to increase capacity to implement the mission across all program areas across the agency.

This position provides infrastructure and support to Field Operations staff and the Field Operations Manager, serving as the ‘boots in the field’ for hands-on partnerships. Andres leads the agency's North County team. 

The Lead Open Space Technician leads maintenance and stewardship projects on open space lands, while also providing technical and functional supervision to a team of staff. Andy is part of the Open Space Authority's South County team.

The Open Space Technician II works to steward protected lands and foster positive visitor experiences by maintaining a high standard of care at your open space preserves. The position also provides on-the-job guidance to other field staff.

The Equipment Mechanic Operator maintains the Open Space Authority's fleet of equipment and vehicles and operates the fleet of heavy equipment.

The Volunteer Program Administrator works to connect people and communities to nature and Open Space Authority-protected lands through volunteerism and engagement. It is a logistics-focused support role that is very people-oriented, interacting directly with Open Space Authority volunteers and the public. 

The Open Space Technician II works to steward protected lands and foster positive visitor experiences by maintaining a high standard of care at your open space preserves. This particular position also serves as a bridge to the Open Space Authority's volunteer program, ensuring successful land stewardship projects.

The Supervising Open Space Technician serves as a resource to Field Operations staff, fostering collaborative, innovative team environments. This position provides infrastructure and support to Field Operations staff and the Field Operations Manager, serving as the ‘boots in the field’ for hands-on partnerships. Megan leads the agency's South County team. 

The Educational Programs Coordinator delivers high quality programming and nature experiences for the public, connecting them to the mission of the Open Space Authority. They build relationships and partnerships with other organizations to expand the agency’s capacity to deliver engaging educational programs. 

The Lead Open Space Technician leads maintenance and stewardship projects on open space lands, while also providing technical and functional supervision to a team of staff. Patrick is part of the Open Space Authority's North County team.

The Associate Open Space Planner fulfills the Open Space Authority’s goals of connecting generations of people to natural and working lands, while ensuring the protection of the natural and cultural resources. They are responsible for broad coordination and implementation of agency-wide planning objectives.

The Agricultural Specialist supports the Open Space Authority's ability to deliver on its mission and goals related to agriculture, to restore and protect working lands in the Santa Clara Valley.

The Natural Resources Technician II is an integral part of the Open Space Authority's work to enhance natural habitats within the agency's open space network. The position leads the implementation of the Authority's Integrated Pest Management program and work cross-departmentally with Field Operations staff. 

The Watershed Restoration Specialist advances the planning and design of restoration of creeks and wetland systems, with a focus on delivering projects through the Coyote Valley Conservation Areas Master Plan (CVCAMP) process. 

The GIS Administrator manages all aspects of the Open Space Authority's Geographic Information System (GIS) program to support the agency's mission and strategic objectives through the completion of analysis and mapping to meet the needs of departments and programs across the agency.
